The farm already produces data. The problem is that it is scattered.

Notebook, spreadsheet, WhatsApp, the employee’s memory, a lost invoice, a weighing with no history. In the end, the producer knows he works hard, but does not always know exactly where he makes or loses money.

The cost of not measuring

Without records, the loss does not show in the books. But it leaves your pocket.

Only 3.5% of U.S. cow-calf operations used a standardized performance analysis to measure what their calves really earn (USDA NAHMS survey, 2007-08).

Cow-calf

87.9%

weaned calf crop, U.S. average in 2025

Top producers wean 10% more pounds per exposed cow. Every cow that is not pregnant takes up pasture and costs a full year; without records, the gap stays invisible.

Source: CattleFax 2025 survey (300,000 cows, 40 states)

Growing

US$ 1.25

per head, every day a calf takes to reach weight on grass

Without weighing, a slow gain stays hidden and the carrying cost keeps running.

Source: Texas A&M AgriLife, 2026 stocker budget

Feedlot

29% to 45%

of the time feeding 2 to 6 weeks past the usual finish paid more than selling on time

Every extra day costs feed and yardage; past the right finish, the gain rarely pays for it.

Harvest

6 to 8 bu/acre

is what a poorly adjusted combine can leave behind, against a goal below 2

Four beans per square foot is one bushel per acre lost. What is not counted does not enter the year’s accounts.

How we calculate (methodology and sources) ▾

Cow-calf: difference between your weaning rate and a 90% target, the mark extension benchmarks call good (Ohio State University Extension, 2026; NDSU CHAPS benchmark, 91%). The U.S. average was 87.9% in 2025 (CattleFax survey of 300,000 cows in 40 states), which is the default. Loss = cows × (90% − your rate) × value per calf. Suggested value: US$ 2,050, a 571 lb steer at US$ 385 per cwt and a 524 lb heifer at US$ 364 per cwt, averaged 1:1 (weights from USDA APHIS NAHMS Beef 2017; prices from the USDA AMS Oklahoma auction summary, October 9, 2026).

Growing: every day a calf takes to reach the target weight costs its upkeep. Suggested value: US$ 1.25 per head per day, from the Texas A&M AgriLife 2026 summer stocker budget (US$ 198 per head over 160 days, not counting the calf). Savings = head × cost per head per day × days saved.

Feedlot: each day past the right finish costs feed and yardage with little return; in Kansas State simulations (2025), feeding 2 to 6 weeks longer paid more than selling on time only 29% to 45% of the time. Suggested value: US$ 3.60 per head per day, the feeding cost of gain (US$ 96 to 107 per cwt, Kansas State Focus on Feedlots and farmdoc daily, 2026) times 3.6 lb of daily gain. Cost = head × daily cost × days.

Harvest (soybeans): difference between your loss and 2 bushels per acre, the goal set by Iowa State University Extension; a poorly adjusted combine can lose 6 to 8. Loss = acres × (your loss − 2 bu/acre) × price per bushel. You can measure yours: about 4 beans per square foot equal 1 bushel per acre. Suggested value: US$ 10.50 per bushel, the 2025/26 season-average farm price (USDA WASDE, October 9, 2026).

Year’s cost (soybeans): in the USDA ERS cost and return estimates for U.S. soybeans (2025), fertilizer is 23.6% and chemicals 19.5% of operating costs, 43.1% together. Difference = acres × cost per acre × (your share − 43.1 points). Suggested value: US$ 251 per planted acre, the 2025 operating cost in the same estimates. Being above the reference can have a reason (poorer soil, pest pressure, another crop); the math shows what the gap is worth.

Simplified estimate for reflection. Your own farm’s numbers are the ones that count, and that is exactly what Alqira measures.

What changes on your farm

From the cattle pens to cash: what comes to exist when what you already do becomes numbers.

Know where you win and where you lose.

Cost per cwt or kg, per group, per crop, and per animal, with the math open on the screen.

The money that vanishes unseen shows up.

The cow that is not pregnant, the calf that was not weaned, the inventory that does not match, the cattle count that does not close at the pens, the light steer hidden in the group, the crop that cost more than it earned. Here it shows, and you can fix it.

Profit is one thing. Money in the account is another.

Cash kept separate from result. That is what tells you whether the year paid off or just moved money.

One system for the whole farm.

Cattle pens, pasture, crops, shed, and office in one place. No charge per module.

Every animal, its whole life.

From birth to sale, with its cost from the day it arrived. With or without an ear tag.

The mistake shows up before it becomes a decision.

A weighing off the curve, a balance that does not close, a strange entry: in Alqira you see it before it becomes a problem.

Herd, breeding, crops, map, inventory, machines, and finance. All included, with no charge per module.

How it works

You record what you already do. Alqira does the math.

What goes in · you record

  • Handlingweighing, vaccine, group, FTAI, weaning
  • Animalbirth, purchase, sale, death
  • Crops and mapfield, planting, harvest, soil report
  • Inventorypurchase, consumption, balance, and average cost
  • Moneyinvoice, installment, loan, consortium plan

The Alqira engine

does the math nobody does by hand

  • Each expense goes to the right group, crop, or animal, and shows up only once.
  • Cash and result are separate readings of the same money.
  • Money to the cent, and estimates marked as estimates.

What comes out · you decide

  • Cost per cwt or kgby group and by animal, with the ration included
  • Cost per hectare of the cropand what was left per hectare in the year
  • Where the money ispayable, receivable, in cash
  • What the farm owns and owesvalued herd, machines, land, inventory, and debts
  • 66 indicatorseach one with its "how we calculate it"

The decision stays yours. Alqira shows the number and the math behind it; whoever knows the farm decides.

Who we are

Made by people who live off the farm.

I am Pedro Henrique: a physician and farmer! I grew up between the city and the countryside, watching my parents struggle to keep up with running the farm. Collected data was never in short supply; the question was what to do with it. How to interpret it? Are we making a profit? Is it safe to take on one more loan?

That was where the question that stays with me to this day was born: which number do you trust? Talking with other producers and watching the famous figures of the sector, I realized everyone waves numbers around, but no one speaks the same language. Deep down, few people know what really happens inside their own farm gate. And it is in that vacuum that some boast about books that do not add up.

Looking for a solution on the market did not help: expensive service, a lot of sales talk, too little support. There were countless meetings with people who talked a lot and knew little; I saw up close the hassle of paying a lot for a service that made no difference day to day. So my parents built their own solution: every animal, every weighing, every purchase, and every sale moved from paper to a system they built themselves in Microsoft Access. When it reached its limit, I looked again and found nothing that was simple, complete, and honestly priced at the same time. So I built it!

Welcome to Alqira, a platform made by a farmer for farmers. The purpose is to unify the language of agribusiness based on our thriving agricultural science, treat your data with respect, and bring honest readings of it, with transparency, without charging a lot or bothering you. It is meant to be intuitive, with no one pestering you. And if you notice a mistake, report it: we fix it.

In the end, I think of Alqira as your water, electricity, and phone bill: essential for day-to-day work to be organized and profitable. All you have to do is bring here the same discipline with which you already hold up Brazil every day. And a lot of improvement is still to come.

Hundreds of animals and thousands of field records have already gone through Alqira before it reached you.

We are in this together.

No commissioned testimonials and no corporate promises: what we have today is a system made by people who live off the farm, and commitments you can hold us to.

We pay the same bills you do

We feel the same weights in our pockets: drought, interest, cattle prices, labor, supplies. Alqira exists to defend the farm’s margin.

No guessed numbers

We separate closed figures from estimates and show where each value came from. A guess comes flagged as ~estimated, with no pretty number that does not match what is in the cattle pens.

Your numbers do not become gossip

What belongs to your farm stays on your farm. We do not sell your data or hand your numbers to the neighbor, the buyer, or the market.

Not a passing startup

It is not a system that shuts down in two years. The people who make it live off the farm, and will need it as long as there is cattle on pasture.

And this “together” also includes those who serve farms: the consultant, vet, animal scientist, agronomist, salesperson, or accountant who brings a client to Alqira gets 20% of that farm’s first year. Learn about the Partner Program.

Only you see what is yours.

In the field, confidentiality means this: how much you have, how much you made, and what you sold for stay with you.

Only whoever you invite can see

No one outside your farm sees your herd, your costs, your sales, or your loans. The neighbor, the buyer, and the landlord still do not know how much you have.

You decide who sees what

Five roles. The farmhand records handling without seeing the finances; the accountant sees the books without touching the herd; the owner checks everything.

Protection is in the database, not in how the screen looks

Isolation between farms is done in the database. Even if a screen got it wrong, the database would refuse the read.

We do not sell or hand over any data

We do not use your numbers for advertising and do not pass them to third parties. It is written in the Privacy Policy, and you can hold us to it.

Two-factor sign-in, lockout after repeated attempts, new-device alert, and a daily database backup.

Price on the table. No quote, no salesperson.

Why it costs less

Cheap has a reason.

The low price is not a sign of a smaller product. It is a sign that you do not pay for what does not need to exist.

Lean operation

We do not have an army of salespeople or a city-hall-sized structure. Fewer unnecessary people in the middle means less cost built into your price.

Know-how from people who lived it

Decades of farm life behind every screen. The system was born inside the farm gate, not in a meeting room.

Your data is not the product

We have no interest in collecting or selling anyone’s data. What is yours stays yours, period.

No invented metrics

Every number has theoretical backing and a stated source. We do not create indicators just to look smart.

Truly intuitive

Made for you to use on your own, with no paid training and no mandatory consultant. And if you find a mistake, report it: we fix it.

On the buyer’s side

Price on the table, no contract gotchas, no salesperson calls. The relationship is farmer to farmer.

We think of Alqira like your electricity bill: essential to the business, it keeps life organized and shows the numbers clearly, without weighing you down. You already have the discipline.

FAQ

How much does it cost?

The Semente plan is annual: 12 installments of US$ 59 per month, or US$ 590 paid in full with 2 free months, with everything included and up to 10 people by invitation. On both plans: 14 days free. Your card is only charged on day 15; cancel before then and you pay nothing. After the first charge, you still have 14 days to cancel for a full refund. Whoever joins now gets the Raiz Condition: this price stays yours as long as the subscription lasts, and the only possible adjustment is the year’s inflation. If someone introduced you to Alqira, keep that person’s code: there is a field for it when you subscribe, and it gives you a discount. And there is the Virada plan, 12× of US$ 9 (or US$ 90 paid in full), only for those who are truly squeezed: the year’s cash flow in the red, the enterprise result in the red, or the sum of loan payments made in the year (principal, interest, and fees) above 30% of revenue. You join on your word, with no proof, and the check comes once a year, at the year turnover. It is the price on the table above: no quote, no salesperson, and no charging more to those with more cattle or more hectares. It applies to cattle, crops, and those who run both, and the price is the same for any property size: if yours is large, ask for a conversation before subscribing at suporte@alqira.com.br, so we can bring your data in with you.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Alqira works in the browser, on a computer or phone, with no installation.

Do I need training?

Not necessarily. The system was designed for direct use, with simple screens and a guided flow.

Is there support?

Yes. Alqira was designed for self-service use, but you can reach us at suporte@alqira.com.br for technical questions and access problems. Whoever answers is whoever built the platform.

Can I start with groups and grow from there?

Yes. You can start with simpler management by group and move to individual tracking when it makes sense.

Does it work at the cattle pens without internet?

Not yet: recording needs a signal. What exists is the draft saved in the cloud: if the connection drops in the middle of a sale, a purchase, or an entry, you pick up where you left off, on any device.

Does Alqira connect to my country’s official cattle register?

No. Alqira does not exchange data with any country’s official traceability or movement system (such as USDA animal disease traceability, BCMS, AIM, NAIT or NLIS). You keep reporting to them as you do today; Alqira keeps your own records, costs and results.

Is there a farm map?

Yes. The farm appears by satellite, with the fields you draw or import from KML, KMZ and GeoJSON files. Each field shows how many head and which groups are in it, and the soil report appears on the field.

How does canceling work?

The renewal and cancellation terms are those of the plan you choose and are in the Terms of Use. You read everything before subscribing. And your data stays available for export at any time.

Still in doubt? Sign up and see it with your own farm’s data.
